A passenger on a train near Philadelphia was raped without a passenger’s reaction

None of the train users contacted the emergency number when the woman was attacked.

Facts happened on the Septa (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) train. The suspect, Piston Enjoy, was sitting next to the victim at about 10pm on a train passing through the city of Philadelphia. Andrew Bush, a spokesman for the Public Transportation Agency, said “Fiston Enjoy” tried to touch her several times.

Eight minutes without any action from other passengers

The victim pushed him back several times and tried to stop him from touching her. “Unfortunately he started taking off his clothes,” Andrew Bush said. The attack lasted almost eight minutes and was not stopped by any of the train passengers.

“I’m shocked that none of these people did anything to this woman,” said Dad, police commissioner Timothy Bernhardt.

When the policeman explained that there were not “a dozen” people on the train, there were enough people to say, “Collectively, they can intervene to do something.” Timothy Bernhardt said several investigators had received information that the passenger had filmed the scene, but police could not confirm this information.

Imprisoned suspect

One of the SEPTA employees who was alerted by video surveillance on the train – emergency services were contacted. A police officer then intervened and arrested the suspect before taking him to jail.

The victim, after hearing about his attack, was taken to hospital.

“What this woman endured because of this guy, then she was able to give us information, it was unimaginable,” the police commissioner continued.

Piston Enjoy was charged with rape and sexual assault. Unable to post $ 180,000 bail, he was jailed in Delaware County.
