New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that today’s India is correcting its “handled” history and will give due credit to those who made India’s history. He also stressed that the country was moving away from the frustration that the COVID-19 epidemic had brought to the country.

Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone through video conferencing for the Maharaja Suheldev Memorial and the development of Chittorgarh Lake in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. U.P. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, “This Basant has come to India with new hopes and new enthusiasm, which is moving away from the frustration of epidemics.”

“Indian history is not only written by those who enslaved and enslaved this country. The history of India is what the common people of India have put into the folk tales of India, which have been carried forward for generations,” he said.

In light of Maharaja Suheldev’s contribution to the country, Prime Minister Modi said, “As India enters its 75th year of independence today, there can be no great occasion to remember from the contribution of such great men (Maharaja Suheldev), their sacrifice, struggle, heroism and sacrifice. “

He lamented that it was an unfortunate fact that those who had dedicated their lives to protect India were not given their due rank. Narendra Modi said that for the creators of history, the injustices and manipulations done by the historians are being rectified by today’s India.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister welcomed the people of the country on the eve of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami.

Taking up his official Twitter handle, he said, “Basant Panchami marks the beginning of spring. This day is observed with the worship of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge.”

“Congratulations to you on the sacred occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja,” Modi tweeted.
