Forget Ram temple and reduce fuel prices: Samna | Mumbai News

Mumbai: The Shiv Sena has demanded that the Modi government reduce the price of lunar petrol and diesel instead of “subscribing” to the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
An editorial in the Sena mouthpiece Samna on Monday said that when fuel prices rose under the previous regime, then Gujarat Chief Minister Modi had slandered the Congress, calling it a “loot (dacoit)”.
In another bar, the editorial added: “However, if anyone does this today, he will be charged with treason and sent to prison.”
Praising previous governments at the center, Samna said he had started major public companies such as Indian Oil, ONGC, Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum and Mumbai High and discovered the presence of oil in the sea. “Modi is now putting all the public sector companies up for sale and blaming the previous governments for the fuel price hike,” it added.

The Sena also became the second state ruling party to point the finger at celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, even after prices soared above Rs 100 per liter today, claiming that those who set high fuel prices before 2014 were mum today. “It simply came to our notice then. This means that before 2014, there was freedom of expression and the right to critique. No one has been jailed on charges of treason for criticizing government policies. However, we have lost that freedom today, ”he said.
