Indian Minister of External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs V. Muraleedharan pays a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates
Indian Foreign and Parliamentary Affairs Minister V. Muraleedharan met with UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Indian Minister, who is on a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates, discussed various issues, including the welfare of blue-collar workers.

“HE had a great meeting with Sheikh Nahayan. Measures to deepen India-UAE people-people relations, especially the welfare of our workers,” Muralitharan tweeted after the meeting.
Muralitharan was received by Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Pawan Kapoor on Monday night.
“Continuous exchanges at the leadership level between our two countries are a reflection of our comprehensive strategic partnership,” Kapoor said after the cabinet meeting.
Muralitharan will meet community leaders in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to understand the problems facing the Indian foreign community. He will also visit the United Arab Emirates.
Muralitharan last attended a ministerial-level meeting of the Abu Dhabi Dialogue (ADT) in the United Arab Emirates in October 2019 and attended a community function in Sharjah.
“India and the United Arab Emirates have maintained close coordination in their sense of comprehensive strategic partnership during the Corona virus outbreak (Govt-19) epidemics,” the ministry added.
